Speaking of our first event, it was a complete and utter failure. Conflicting events and lack of proper marketing were a major factor. This would be the first of many failures we have faced as a small nonprofit, but it was an exceptional lesson and cemented that I know HOW to put together an event, just not how to make it successful. I am still awful at this. 😛
